Home of Choice and Care provides services to people with disability within metropolitan South Australia. We offer a variety of employment, training and career opportunities across a number of areas and in a range of settings. We work with clients and their families using a person centred approach to care. This means we optimise peoples’ choices and control over their lives. We are seeking motivated and committed people to provide high quality support to people with complex physical and intellectual disabilities.

You will enjoy the opportunity of working closely with a dedicated team of like-minded workers to assist people to achieve their goals. We value the ability of our staff to form strong connections with clients and their families and work with other community support agencies to achieve the best possible outcomes.  It is important that our staff have the desire and dedication to want to make a difference to the lives of others.

If you are able to demonstrate the right attitude and values, are interested in working as a member of a team, and you are keen to learn, we are committed to providing on the job training to ensure you have the skills to undertake this important role in the community. 

Following a successful interview process, you must be willing to:

  1. Obtain a Certificate III Individual Support (Disability) within 12 months of commencing
  2. Provide First Aid Certificate and Medication Administration Certificate
  3. Undertake a pre-employment medical assessment including a functional capacity evaluation with a satisfactory outcome,
  4. Obtain a NDIS Clearance
  5. Provide a copy of your Drivers License and current registration, insurance and roadworthy documents.
